Out with Danielle, Connor, and Brandon

We met Danielle, Connor, and Brandon at a Jump house inflatables place and then went for lunch. It was nice to hang out since we don't get to see each other that often. Ashlyn just loved hanging out with Connor. They were best buds. We will have to meet more often so us mommy's can hang out and the kids can play.

Disneyland

Two times in one week. We went on Tuesday with Tutu and Grandpa. We met up with Tracy, Lacey, Brook, Sue, Katie, and Krissy. It was a great day. Then on Friday we went with Nona and Papa. We went for Trish's birthday. Trish, Matt, Siena, Missy, Joe, Elizabeth, Kaley, Aunt Georgann, and Uncle Tom went too. It was a very nice day. Lyla has gone to Disneyland like 4 or 5 times. It's amazing.

Lyla's Baptism

We had Lyla's baptism was Feb 22nd. It was a beautiful day. All of the family was there. It's amazing how much family the girls have, it's just wonderful.

Big Girl!!

So we have finally mastered the potty, well at least at home. Ashlyn is now wearing big girl underwear. I really didn't think potty training would be so hard, we've been working on this for it feels like 6 months. I think Ashlyn was just lazy and didn't mind peeing in the diapers, so we took the diapers off and just started using undies. And yesterday we went all day without an accident and today as well so far. Now we just have to tackle going out in public and getting through the night without any accidents. Hopefully Lyla isn't such a challenge.

December

December was a busy month and I have seemed to have not blogged any of it. So this will be a blog for the whole month of December. My cousin Matt's birthday was this last month. He turned 30, which is kinda scary since he's the first one of my cousins to turn 30 and that means I will be turning 30 in the next couple years.

We did all the fun Christmas activities. We had Christmas Day at our house and Jason cooked dinner, which was delicious. It was a great Christmas. Ashlyn was so excited this year about presents, she loved opening them up. She got lots of clothes from everyone and her favorite present was her kitchen from Papa and Nona. It was Lyla's first Christmas, she enjoyed being held and having Ashlyn open up her presents.

Tutu and Grandpa Visit

Tutu (what Ashlyn calls Lisa) and Grandpa came out to visit from Maui. They were here for a total of 2 weeks with a little vacation over to Mexico during in between their visit. Ashlyn loved having here grandparents here to visit. Brent meet Lyla for the first time. While they were here there was a lot of cartoon watching with Grandpa, dinners out, a trip to the beach, a visit to see Santa and a trip to Disneyland. We love when they get to come out and visit and can't wait to see them again soon.
