Tutu (what Ashlyn calls Lisa) and Grandpa came out to visit from Maui. They were here for a total of 2 weeks with a little vacation over to Mexico during in between their visit. Ashlyn loved having here grandparents here to visit. Brent meet Lyla for the first time. While they were here there was a lot of cartoon watching with Grandpa, dinners out, a trip to the beach, a visit to see Santa and a trip to Disneyland. We love when they get to come out and visit and can't wait to see them again soon.

Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving we went to my Uncle Tom and Aunt Georgann's house. It was a nice day with lots of great food. It was Lyla's first Thanksgiving and she slept through most of it. We all had a great time.
Lyla's Baby Shower
I haven't blogged for a while...in November my cousin Trish and my Mom threw a surprise baby shower for Lyla and me. It was so nice to be able to celebrate Lyla. My cousin Trish is so funny, she thinks no matter how many children you have had, each one should have a party to celebrate them. Thanks Trisha and Mom. I don't have any pictures yet, since my cousin Missy was so nice to take pictures. As soon as I get them I will post them. Thank you everyone for such a wonderful day and all the diapers and presents.

Siena's First birthday
Saturday was Siena's first birthday and Sunday was her birthday party. Ashlyn was so excited to go, everyday she saw the invitation on the fridge she would say "Baby birthday party." There was a jumper and Ashlyn was just in love with that thing, she wouldn't get out of it. She had so much fun jumping with her cousins and her daddy. Siena was also just so cute. She was in the best mood and every time I saw her she had a big smile on her face. It was a great party.

Halloween
Both girls are napping so I have a moment to blog. For Halloween Ashlyn was a USC cheerleader and Jason was Manny. Jason and Ashlyn spent the morning and afternoon at Disneyland. Ashlyn only made it until the Haunted Mansion where she feel asleep, so Jason carried her out to the car. That night we went to our friends house in Burbank and Ashlyn went trick or treating with her cousin Lacey and her friends Katie and Crissy. When Ashlyn would go up to a house she would try to walk into the house, it was very cute. The night was great. I was even able to walk around trick or treating with Lyla and Ashlyn a little bit.

Introducing Miss Lyla Grace
Lyla Grace was born on October 23rd at 9:18 am, she was 8 lbs 2 ozs and 19 1/2 inches. She is perfect in every way. Like you can see from the pictures she looks a lot like Ashlyn. Some moments when I look at her it's kinda scary, I feel like I am looking at Ashlyn when she was a baby.
The hospital stay was good. I have been healing nicely. Like Ashlyn, Lyla had to go on bili lights because she had jaundice. Her bilirubin levels didn't get nearly as high as Ashlyn's which was good. And Lyla's pediatrician let us go home on time, we were able to bring the bili lights home with us. Wednesday we went to the doctors and Lyla's lab levels were good so we were able to stop using the bili lights. Which is so nice, we get to hold her now.
Ashlyn has been such a good big sister. She is constantly giving Lyla kisses and wants to hold her all the time. I'm making sure to give her cuddle time too, so she doesn't get jealous of her new little sister. So far Lyla has been pretty easy, like Ashlyn was as a baby. I have been pretty lucky to have just wonderful little girls.
Here are lots of pictures and videos of our new little girl.

Pumpkin Patch
On Sunday we went to the pumpkin patch to pick out some pumpkins. My parents came along and we ended up with two big pumpkins for Jason and Ashlyn to carve together on the day before Halloween. It was the last big outing still pregnant. Ashlyn enjoyed running around helping Papa and Daddy find the perfect pumpkin. She also kept posing for pictures by the scare crow. She kept on saying more pictures mommy, and smiling real big. Isn't she so cute.

Go Dodgers!!
We went to the Dodger Game last night. Jason is so excited at how far the Dodgers are going this year. Ashlyn came with us and was having so much fun swinging the Dodger towel in the air. It was a very exciting game and we are so glad they won. Here are some picture of a game we went to a couple weeks ago with Trish, Matt, Siena, Chris and Megan. I forgot my camera last night.

Work Shower
The girls at work threw me a baby shower for my new little girl. It was a great day. Since I've been on maternity leave, it was nice to see everyone. I got some cute outfits and some needed things for the baby. Ashlyn came along and loved exploring the house, there was also two baby girls and a baby boy there which Ashlyn just loved playing with. She was so cute though, she wanted me to be sitting by her when she was seeing the babies. I just can wait to see her with her sister. 4 more weeks from today and she will be here. Crazy!

Early Maternity Leave
For those of you that don't remember I went on disability early at 34 weeks pregnant with Ashlyn because I started contracting at work. Well I wasn't quite 34 weeks this time. This time I was only 33 weeks and I wasn't even at work I was just hanging out at home and started contracting. On Sunday I started contracting every 7 minutes. I waited a while to see if they would go away but they didn't. So Jason and I finally went to the hospital (my work) and got checked out. They game me some medication to stop the contractions and checked my cervix (which is still closed). Well the contractions never completely went away. I am still having them everyday. So my doctor has put me on modified bedrest, which means I need to stay off my feet as much as possible until 36 weeks, which will be in 2 weeks, and I have medication to take when I have more than 4 contractions in an hour. So I'm done with work until after my maternity leave and will be watching lot of movies with Ashlyn.
USC Game
The first home game was last Saturday. I just love going to the USC home games. There's so much excitement and we have so much fun going. I love having our season tickets. I also love getting the kettle corn to eat too. The game was great, USC won 35 to 3 for those that didn't watch the game. This season I will only be able to go to 2 more game since I will be having the baby mid season, so hopefully they are exciting games.

Wedding Weekend
This weekend my Cousin Micheal got married. It was a wedding weekend for all of us. The wedding was in Dana Point at the St. Regis, which was a beautiful hotel. My cousins Matt, Trish and their daughter Siena came and stayed with us on Thursday and Friday night. So Thursday and Friday night it was game night with the PlayStation with all the boys over at our house.
The rehearsal lunch was on Friday, after a night of work and no nap for me. Even though I was pretty tired, we had a great time. The rehearsal went well and then we went to a friend of Audrey's Family and had a pool party. Ashlyn and Siena had so much fun.
The wedding was Saturday afternoon. Cindy and her boyfriend came down from Santa Clarita to babysit. I'm am so lucky she is willing to drive all the way out here to babysit Ashlyn. Ashlyn has so much fun with her and it just gives me piece of mind knowing she's in good hands.
The wedding was beautiful and the reception was so much fun. Everyone and everything looked beautiful. It was a beautiful day, a little warm, but still beautiful. Micheal and Audrey put on a wonderful day. We wish them a lifetime of happiness.
There's lots of pictures so enjoy.

Our Annual Boating Trip
We went on our annual boat trip a week and a half ago. We go every year to Laughlin with all of my cousins. It seems like we get more people to go every year. It always ends up being such a great vacation. This year Ashlyn seemed to enjoy it a lot more, she had lots of friends (cousins) to play with and loved swimming in the lake. I was really bad about taking pictures this time, so there aren't that many pictures. We even won money at night, not much but we didn't lose which is always a plus. I can't wait to go again next year.

July
Two weeks ago we went out to Valencia. I was able to see my friend Jamie and her new baby. Ashlyn is in love with babies right now. Jamie let her hold her and she was saying my baby. I think she's going to want to hold her sister all the time. It was a nice visit.
Then we went over to Diane's. My Aunt Georgann, Cousin Trish and Siena met us there. It was a hot day so we went swimming. Ashlyn loves the pool. She also loved it more since baby Siena was there. Again, all she wanted to do was hold and hug Siena. Siena's getting so big though and can crawl around now, so it was hard for Ashlyn to hold onto her. They are so cute together though.
Then that weekend Jason's Dad came out for a week. We met the Carrino's at Sea World for the day. It was so crowded, but we were able to get good seat for all the shows. We just didn't eat since the lines were so long, like over 30 minutes. It was a great day.
While Grandpa was here we also met Auntie Maria and Quinn for lunch and we went swimming.
On a side note, never let 2 year olds share drinks, cause you never know what kinds of viruses they could have. Quinn had Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease, which he didn't show symptoms of until the next day. It sounds worse then it actually was, but Ashlyn did end up getting it too. We are actually almost over it. It was sores in the mouth and a rash on the hands, feet, and buttocks. Since she is contagious until it's all gone we've been spending a lot of time watching movies. But she is almost all better which is good.
