July

Two weeks ago we went out to Valencia. I was able to see my friend Jamie and her new baby. Ashlyn is in love with babies right now. Jamie let her hold her and she was saying my baby. I think she's going to want to hold her sister all the time. It was a nice visit.

Then we went over to Diane's. My Aunt Georgann, Cousin Trish and Siena met us there. It was a hot day so we went swimming. Ashlyn loves the pool. She also loved it more since baby Siena was there. Again, all she wanted to do was hold and hug Siena. Siena's getting so big though and can crawl around now, so it was hard for Ashlyn to hold onto her. They are so cute together though.

Then that weekend Jason's Dad came out for a week. We met the Carrino's at Sea World for the day. It was so crowded, but we were able to get good seat for all the shows. We just didn't eat since the lines were so long, like over 30 minutes. It was a great day.

While Grandpa was here we also met Auntie Maria and Quinn for lunch and we went swimming.

On a side note, never let 2 year olds share drinks, cause you never know what kinds of viruses they could have. Quinn had Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease, which he didn't show symptoms of until the next day. It sounds worse then it actually was, but Ashlyn did end up getting it too. We are actually almost over it. It was sores in the mouth and a rash on the hands, feet, and buttocks. Since she is contagious until it's all gone we've been spending a lot of time watching movies. But she is almost all better which is good.

Beach Day!!

I'm really behind on my blogs. Two weeks ago we went to the beach for the day with Paul Sheets and his family and Danielle and her boys. We went to the salt creek beach, which we have never been to before. It was really nice, except for the big hill and the parking situation. It was a really nice day. Ashlyn loved playing in the sand, she wasn't really into the water though. Both Paul and Danielle have little boys and Ashlyn loved looking at the babies. She's really into babies right now, she loves watch them on tv and touch and holding them. It's nice since in 13 weeks our little baby girl will be here.

Fourth of July Weekend

Fourth of July weekend was a busy one. We went to Wild River on Thursday since Jason had the day off. Ashlyn had so much fun going down the kiddie slides. There wasn't many she could ride, but she didn't mind going down the same ones over and over. My cousin Michael met us there and when Ashlyn was ready for a nap, around 3pm, Jason stayed with Michael so he could ride all the big rides. It was a very fun day. We got season passes since it's just a mile from us, so if anyones ever going let us know,5 we'll met you there.

On Friday for 4th of July we went to the Angels game with my parents, their friends, and my cousins. I think Ashlyn had more fun eating yummy stuff and dancing to all the music than actually watching the game. There were fireworks after the game, it was the first time Ashlyn saw fireworks actually on 4th of July.

On Saturday we went and bought Ashlyn a big girl bed and new bedroom set. We're not actually going to put her in her new bed until August, Jason's going to take a couple days off work so he can paint the baby's room and move all of the baby furniture into her room and put Ashlyn's new stuff in her room.

On Sunday we went to our pool and just had a pool day. Ashlyn loves the water and just has so much fun whenever we go.

Last Week

Last week was busy. Jason went on his annual golf trip. He went with his friends Sam and Mixa. They golf 4 rounds in 3 days and had a great time. Jason came in last for their tournament but he still enjoyed himself very much. Sam won the trophy (yeah there's an actually trophy).

When Jason's came home we went to Disneyland. It was one of the last days our passes worked, we blocked out for the summer. Jason doesn't get to come with us very often so Ashlyn loved having her Daddy to go on the rides with. We even got to go on the new Toy Story ride. It was about an hour wait, but it was a lot of fun.

On Saturday was Quinn's 2nd birthday party. It was a great day. Lots of 2 year old running around. Ashlyn loved playing with everyone. There was bounce house and Ashlyn loved playing in it. It was a Yo Gabba Gabba party and all the kids had fun running around.
