Easter

Easter was just a wonderful day. It started out with Ashlyn getting up to find that the Easter bunny come and left a basket full of goodies. I think her favorites were the Dora video and the bubbles.

Then we went to church. I was a little worried since we haven't gone to church since Ashlyn was a little baby. But to my surprise she did great and we were able to sit through the whole mass without having to take her outside. I think she just enjoyed looking at everyone. We definetly need to try to go to mass more often.

We then went out to Santa Clarita for Easter at my Aunt Georgann's and Uncle Tom's. It was just a nice day with all of my cousins. We had a Easter egg hunt for Ashlyn, Lacey, and Kaley. Ashlyn had so much fun. She loves playing with her cousins. I can't wait until Nathan and Siena are big enough to play too. It's so nice for Ashlyn to have so many cousins to play with.

Baby's First Picture

Yesterday I went to my first of many prenatal appointments. Jason and Ashlyn came with me and we all were able to see the baby on ultrasound. We also were able to hear the heartbeat. It's crazy how something so small could have a heartbeat. Ashlyn could see the screen and was pointing saying "baby". My due date is October 30th, but since I will be having a c-section I will probably deliver the week before. It definitely becomes more real when you actually see the baby for the first time.

I just thought they look so cute!! They were cheering on USC during the basketball game yesterday. But even with all the cheering USC couldn't win...maybe next year boys.

Disneyland, Dana Point, and Papa and Nona's house

I have been really bad about posting lately. I've been feeling very tired and my tummy's been feeling a little sick these last couple weeks. But Ashlyn and Jason are napping right now so I figured it would be the perfect time to update the blog. So this month we went to Disneyland (I know we go there all the time) with our cousins Tracy and Lacey and some of their friends. Ashlyn just loves being with girls. I think if she could trade this baby for a older sister, she would.

We also went to Dana Point about two weeks ago, they were having a festival for the whales. We didn't see any whales but it was nice to walk along the harbor and we went to the aquarium there. It was a small aquarium but Ashlyn enjoyed looked around at everything. Then before we left they had a duck race at in the harbor. Ashlyn had fun at the beach, I can't wait to see her in Maui next week.

Last weekend my Grandma came out to visit. So on Saturday we went to my parents house for dinner. After dinner Ashlyn went into the spa with her Daddy, Papa, and Uncle. She had a blast splashing around. It was a nice visit.

Number Two is on it's way!

For those of you that don't know already, we are having another baby. It's still pretty early, I'm only about 5 weeks pregnant and won't official go to the doctors until the end of March. We are very excited. We have been telling Ashlyn there's a baby in Mommy's tummy. So now whenever Jason or I say where's the baby, Ashlyn points to my stomach. She loves giving it kisses. It's really cute. I'm feeling pretty good, no nausea yet, just a little more tired than normal. Ashlyn was a pretty easy pregnancy, so hopefully this one will be too.

Sunday Brunch, Disneyland,and Santa Ana Zoo

Last week we went to lunch with my parents, my brother, and my sorta adoptive brother Chris and his girlfriend, Megan. We went down to Balboa island for a early lunch and then walked around the harbor. It was a beautiful day and so much fun. I had never been down there before and it was so cute. We will definitely need to go down there again when the weather starts to get warmer.

On Wednesday we met Andrea and her kids at Disneyland for the afternoon. I know I've said this before, but it's so nice that we have season passes so we can see each other almost every month. Ashlyn just adores Mia, when I told her we were meeting Mia and Lacey, she even started saying Mia's name. It was a nice day, we even saw David and Patricia Arquette. It would have been more exciting if we had seen Courtney Cox, but she wasn't with them.

Yesterday we went to the Santa Ana Zoo with Aunt Maria and Quinn. It's a small zoo but it was a fun couple hours with with the kids. Ashlyn loves monkey's and they had a bunch of those, so she was happy. There were two monkey's that were screaming and going around the cages and Ashlyn and Quinn just loved it.

Disneyland and California Adventure

Last week we went to Disneyland with my Mom, Dad, and Cousins. It was a great day. Ashlyn had a great day playing with all the girls. My Dad has only come with us once, so he had a great time taking ashlyn on the rides and riding some of the big ones too. Now that the weathers getting warmer it's going to be fun to go sometimes just for an afternoon. We went over to California Adventure for some of the day. Ashlyn loved going on all of the little kid rides over there. She's still too small for the bumper cars, but she always wants to go on that ride. Maybe next year.
